These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of e-travel-authorization.uk and the UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (“ETA”) application assistance services provided through this website.
Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing our services.
By submitting an order and making payment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
1. About Our Service
e-travel-authorization.uk is an independent private service providing assistance with UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) applications.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the UK Government, the Home Office or GOV.UK.
Our service consists of receiving and processing information provided by the customer, reviewing that information where applicable, preparing the ETA application and submitting or facilitating submission of the application to the relevant UK Government service on the customer’s behalf.
Customers may apply independently through the official UK Government website without using our assistance service.
Our fees relate to the assistance and processing services that we provide and may therefore be higher than the fee charged directly by the UK Government.
2. Our Role
We act solely as an independent third-party service provider.
By purchasing our service, you expressly authorise us to use the information you provide for the purpose of preparing, processing and, where applicable, submitting an ETA application on your behalf.
You authorise us to transmit the personal, passport, travel and other information required for the application to the relevant UK Government systems or authorities where necessary to provide the service.
We do not make immigration decisions and have no authority over whether an ETA application is approved, refused, delayed or subject to additional checks.
The final decision on any ETA application is made exclusively by the relevant UK Government authorities.
3. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is complete, accurate and truthful.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Your full name
- Date of birth
- Nationality
- Passport details
- Passport images or copies
- Contact information
- Travel information
- Answers to eligibility, security or background questions
- Any other information required for the ETA application
You should carefully review your information before submitting your order.
We are not responsible for delays, refusals, additional costs or other consequences resulting from incorrect, incomplete, misleading or fraudulent information provided by you.
If you discover an error after submitting your information, you should contact us as soon as possible.
4. Authorisation to Act on Your Behalf
By purchasing our service, you authorise us to act as a third-party service provider for the limited purpose of preparing, processing and submitting or facilitating the submission of your ETA application.
This authorisation includes permission to:
- Process the information you provide
- Review the information for apparent errors or omissions
- Prepare the application
- Submit or facilitate submission of the application using the relevant UK Government service
- Pay applicable government application fees where these are included in the service purchased
- Receive and communicate information relating to the processing of your application where technically and legally permitted
You remain the ETA applicant and are ultimately responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of all information submitted in your name.
5. Eligibility
It is your responsibility to ensure that an ETA is appropriate for your intended journey.
An ETA is not a visa and does not guarantee permission to enter the United Kingdom.
Immigration officers and other competent UK authorities retain the final authority to determine whether a traveller may enter the United Kingdom.
If you require a visa or another type of immigration permission, our ETA assistance service is not a substitute for obtaining the appropriate authorisation.
6. Prices and Payment
The total price of our service will be clearly displayed before payment.
Payment is due after you have provided the information required to process your application and before our processing service begins.
Your order will not normally be processed until payment has been successfully received.
The total amount displayed at checkout may include:
- Our professional service and processing fee
- The applicable UK Government ETA application fee, where stated
- Applicable taxes or other charges, where relevant
The final total will be displayed before you confirm payment.
By completing the payment, you authorise us to begin providing the service in accordance with these Terms and any express consent provided during checkout.
7. Government Fees
Where the price of our service includes an official UK Government ETA application fee, this will be indicated during the ordering process.
Government fees are determined by the UK Government and may change independently of our service.
We have no control over changes to official government fees.
Where a government fee has already been paid to the relevant authority on your behalf, its recoverability may depend on the rules of that authority.
8. Processing Times
We aim to process customer applications as quickly as reasonably possible after receiving:
- All required information and documents; and
- Successful payment.
Any processing time displayed on our website relating to our assistance service is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise.
UK Government decision times are outside our control.
We cannot guarantee that the UK Government will make a decision within a particular period.
Customers should therefore submit their ETA application sufficiently in advance of their intended travel date.
9. No Guarantee of Approval
Purchasing our service does not guarantee that your ETA application will be approved.
We provide an application assistance and processing service. We do not issue ETAs and cannot influence decisions made by UK Government authorities.
An application may be delayed, refused or subject to additional checks for reasons outside our control.
We are not responsible for a refusal resulting from the applicant’s circumstances, eligibility, immigration history, criminal history, incorrect information or any decision made by the relevant authority.
10. Cancellation Rights
Depending on the consumer laws applicable to your purchase, you may have a statutory right to cancel a service purchased online within a specified cancellation period.
Because our service is designed to begin shortly after payment, you may be asked during checkout to expressly request that we begin providing the service before the expiry of any applicable statutory cancellation period.
Where required by applicable law, you will also be asked to acknowledge that once the service has been fully performed, you may lose your statutory right to cancel.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
11. Refund Policy
We want customers to be satisfied with the service they receive.
In addition to any refund rights provided by applicable consumer law, we offer a customer satisfaction policy under which you may contact us to request a refund if you experience a significant problem with our service.
A refund request may be considered in circumstances including:
- A significant processing error attributable to us
- An unreasonable delay attributable directly to our service
- Failure by us to provide the purchased service
- Another genuine and documented issue with the quality of our service
Where appropriate, we may provide a full or partial refund of our service fee.
Refund eligibility may be affected where:
- The application has already been submitted to the UK Government
- A government application fee has already been paid and is non-refundable
- The issue results from inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information supplied by the customer
- The applicant is not eligible for an ETA
- The ETA is refused by the UK Government for reasons unrelated to an error by us
- The delay is caused by the UK Government or another third party outside our control
- Fraudulent use, abuse or a payment dispute is suspected
Nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights.
Further details are available in our Refund Policy.
12. Application Refusals
The decision to approve or refuse an ETA application belongs exclusively to the relevant UK Government authority.
A refusal does not necessarily mean that our service has been performed incorrectly.
Where an ETA is refused, we will provide the information available to us concerning the outcome and, where reasonably possible, explain the options available to the customer.
We do not provide legal or immigration advice unless expressly stated.
13. Changes or Corrections
If you need to correct information after placing your order, you must contact us as quickly as possible.
If processing has not yet begun, we will make reasonable efforts to correct the information.
Once an application has been submitted to the UK Government, it may no longer be possible to modify it.
A new application and additional government fee may be required.
14. Travel Arrangements
You are responsible for your own travel arrangements.
We recommend that you obtain the appropriate travel authorisation before making non-refundable travel arrangements where possible.
We are not responsible for losses relating to flights, accommodation, transport, missed travel, changes to travel plans or other consequential costs arising from an ETA delay or refusal, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Subject to applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
- Decisions made by UK Government authorities
- Government processing delays
- Immigration or border-control decisions
- Technical failures of government systems
- Incorrect information supplied by the customer
- Changes to immigration or ETA requirements
- Airline or transportation decisions
- Events of force majeure
We remain responsible for providing our own service with reasonable care and skill as required by applicable consumer law.
16. Personal Data
To provide our service, we process personal information including identity, passport, contact and travel information.
Information may be transmitted to the UK Government where necessary to process the customer’s ETA application.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
By using our service, you acknowledge that processing this information is necessary for us to perform the service you have requested.
17. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content, design, text, graphics and other materials published on e-travel-authorization.uk are owned by or licensed to us.
They may not be reproduced, copied or commercially exploited without prior permission, except where permitted by law.
UK Government information may be subject to separate copyright and licensing conditions.
18. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website and services available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, technical or operational reasons.
We may also modify or discontinue parts of the website where reasonably necessary.
19. Fraud and Misuse
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect:
- Fraud
- Identity theft
- Unauthorised payment
- False or misleading information
- Abuse of our services
- Illegal activity
Where appropriate, information may be disclosed to payment providers, competent authorities or other parties where legally permitted or required.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legislation, government procedures or business practices.
The version applicable to your purchase will normally be the version in force when your order is placed.
The latest version will always be available on this website.
21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and any contractual relationship arising from the use of our services are governed by French law.
Where you are acting as a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection rights that you may benefit from under the laws of the country in which you are habitually resident, where such protections apply.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts determined in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights relating to applicable law or jurisdiction that cannot legally be excluded or restricted by agreement.
22. Contact
If you have questions, complaints or refund requests concerning our services, please contact with the Contact Form or by e-mail:
Email: contact@e-travel-authorization.uk
We will aim to respond to customer enquiries within a reasonable period.
